What to Do with a Mutant Squash

Have you tasted the flesh? If it's not too woody, I'd scoop out the seeds and flesh, save the flesh, chop it up, mix it with onions and chopped tomato, sauté that mixture in some olive oil, then toss it with crumbled fried Italian sausage, cooked small shell macaroni, parmesan cheese and basil. Stuff the mixture back in the shells, top with a little grated mozzarella, broil, then serve.

Of course, that's what I do with little zucchini too.
