I have the world's easiest and best waffle recipe.
Good only for deep-set Belgian waffle irons
Belgian Waffles
2 eggs separated
2 cups whole milk (no low fat: it's poison)
2 cups flour (Use pastry flour: it makes softer, crisper waffles)
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon excellent vanilla
1/3 cup oil
Three bowls: mix milk, oil, egg yolks and vanilla in one.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder in another.
Egg whites to soft-peak.
Mix dry and wet,
and fold whites in. Drawn butter, Quebec maple syrup and crispy bacon.
