Imre's Black Bean Soup

I've used the ham bone (as well as ham hocks) for making black bean soup. Sauté up some onion, a little garlic, toss in the bone and the beans and a little water. Simmer. As some of the water evaporates I replace it with fresh squeezed orange juice.
