During the asparagus season, members are requested not to relieve themselves
in the waste baskets.
Imre's Black Bean Soup
I've used the ham
bone (as well as ham hocks) for making black bean soup. Sauté up some
onion, a little garlic, toss in the bone and the beans and a little water. Simmer.
As some of the water evaporates I replace it with fresh squeezed orange juice.
