Asia's Pasta Salad with Lemon and Artichokes

Cynthia, inspired by your lemon-basil pasta, last night I sautéed sliced baby artichokes and crimini mushrooms and halved cherry tomatoes in yummy olive oil with a bunch of crushed garlic, sea salt and fresh-ground pepper, deglazed the pan with fresh lemon juice, added a pat of butter, chopped spicy-globe basil and thyme from my little herb-gardenlet and tossed it with angel hair pasta, plus a slurp of the pasta water to make it all slide properly. Topped it with fresh parmesan and I'm not sure I've ever tasted anything better. I can't wait to lay my hands on some pine nuts and peppers and try the original.
